24 February 2017 at the University level M. Auezov SKSU was held the interdepartmental competition "Maslenica - 2017". The purpose of the contest is to unite, to unite students of different nationalities for the preservation of national traditions of the peoples living in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The objectives of the competition included the decoration of every festive table faculty of Slavic folk cuisine training, folk dance, rhymes, songs.In the competition participated actively all the faculty and students of the faculty "Mechanics and oil and gas business", which resulted in 3rd place in the nomination "Best decorated table".
