06.12.2022 at 17.15 in the auditorium 118 B, an open lecture by Professor of the Department of "Oil and Gas business" Nadirov K.S. was held for undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers of the department of "Oil and Gas business". At the lecture in the MNG-22-1nk group, topical issues of corrosion of oilfield equipment were highlighted. The attention of undergraduates was drawn to the fact that corrosion of drill pipes and oil trunk pipelines is most common in oilfield practice. During the lecture in the form of a conference, students asked questions about the use of bitumen coatings for pipelines, as well as electrochemical methods of protecting main pipelines. In general, the lecture ended in the form of a discussion between the listeners.
