On September 16, 2024, a meeting with first-year students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering took place in the assembly hall of the M.Auezov South Ural State University as part of the adaptation week.

During the meeting, Vice-rector for Social and Educational Work G.A. Besbayev, Dean of the Faculty and heads of structural divisions of the University comprehensively familiarized first-year students with the peculiarities of the educational process, the positive aspects of students' research work, academic mobility, the use of library and electronic resources, and various opportunities for students at the university. At the meeting, the concepts of anti-corruption awareness and anti-corruption culture were explained to the students, as well as the values of honesty and common sense were promoted. In addition, the head of the youth center and the student senator of the faculty familiarized students with the system of self-government and invited students to social activity.
