On April 15, 2025, a meeting was held between the heads of departments of the Faculty of "Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering," the Higher School of "Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology," and "Information Technology and Energy" with representatives of LLP "KMG PetroChem."

During the meeting, representatives of "KMG PetroChem" shared information about the stages of construction of the "First Integrated Gas Chemical Complex in the Atyrau Region," as well as the types of specialists required during the construction and commissioning of the complex.

The discussion also covered the training of specialists in the field of oil and gas extraction and processing, as well as cooperation between M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University and LLP "KMG PetroChem."
