For 2022-2024 on the priority "Geology, extraction and processing of mineral and hydrocarbon raw materials, new materials, technologies, safe products and structures", a grant was won for the AP14872527 project "Increasing the resource of trunk pipelines for oil operated in seismic areas".

The aim of the project is to develop a way to eliminate defects and increase the dynamic strength of pipelines. To evaluate the effectiveness of the developed method of eliminating defects and increasing the dynamic strength of pipelines, a computational experiment will be conducted in the ANSYS finite element analysis software system. The effectiveness of the proposed design solution of the pipeline with composite linings to increase its seismic resistance will be justified and an engineering calculation method will be proposed. The project considers the issues of increasing the resource of trunk pipelines for oil and petroleum products by binding with composite linings.
