On November 10, 2022, a round table dedicated to the World Quality Day was held in Shymkent. The organizer of the Round table is the Shymkent and Turkestan region Branch of the RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology". The round table was attended by heads and representatives of state bodies, representatives of the Ministry of Technical and Technical Cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl region, Shymkent city, representatives of the Akimat of Shymkent, as well as representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs. World Quality Day is an annual event held in many countries of the world on the second Thursday of November. The initiator of the establishment of this day is the European Organization for Quality (EOQ) with the support of the United Nations (UN). The purpose of the World Quality Day is to increase the importance of high quality products and services, as well as to intensify activities aimed at drawing attention to quality problems. After all, we are talking not only about the safety of goods for humans and the environment, but also about the degree of satisfaction of consumers' requests and expectations. World Quality Day was approved in 1990. And six years later, the European Quality Organization announced the week in which this second November Thursday falls as European Quality Week. The Certificate of honor was presented to the dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering of the M.Auezov SKU Serikuly Zhandos by the heads of the DCTRM in the city of Shymkent - Eskaraev Bastar Auelkhanovich.
