On October 18, 2024, at 11.30 a.m., an open curatorial hour was held in auditorium 131V on the theme "Saken – zhyrdyn sarkylmas dariyasy", dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Saken Seifullin, organized by 1st year students of the department of groups MMG-24-14k, MMG-24-2k, MMG-24 – 5r.

The purpose of the literary and musical evening was to tell students about the legendary akyn Saken Seifullin, to introduce the younger generation to the study of the life and works of an Alashevite fighting for the independence and sovereignty of the country, to popularize the vitality of the poet's works, to tell about the political life of the poet of his time, who was one of the intellectuals of the Kazakh people, a major statesman, writer, playwright, literary critic, who during his lifetime his vitality and rare grace were inherent, enriching the Kazakh poetry of the XX century with a new kind of works, their whole content. The evening was attended by Dean of the Faculty of «Mechanics and Oil and Gas Business» Rysdauletov Rayymberdy Amanovich, head of the Department of «Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering» Myrzaliev Darkhan Saparbaevich, curators of the groups Kaztuganova Gulsara Aldabergenovna, Moldagaliev Arman Berdibekovich, Seitkhanov Azamat Mukhtarovich, teachers of the department and 1st year students.
